With Camden lock next to the doorstep but as part of a beautiful Victorian terrace, this apartment is designed to be a hybrid between classic and contemporary. A funky town vibe is certainly both the inspiration and the goal.

Project Overview
Establishing multi-sensory experiences, we can design interiors that resonate across ages and demographics. These rooms and spaces connects us to nature as a proven way to inspire us, boost our productivity, and create greater well-being. Beyond these benefits, by reducing stress and enhancing creativity, we can also expedite healing. In our increasingly urbanized cities, biophilia advocates a more humanistic approach to design. The result is biophilic interiors that celebrate how we live, work and learn with nature.

Description
We widely applied black metal finish in the mood-board which offers great design depth and never boredom. The challenge of the project lies in the office/guest room. Without any direct access to natural light and fresh air after we constructed the new garden extension, we decided to open its wall to the lounge space but divide them with a crittal glass French door. We also applied complex lighting influences throughout the project: from the black strip light which highlights the cooking experience; to the hidden recess light in the bathroom to support the markup moments; to the bedside pendants offering cosy pre-sleeping time. We are proud of how we restored the front window dated back to the 1950s. By duplicating the missing parts and refreshing the existing, it helps us guard the apartment from losing its origins among the metropolitan development stream.
